Youth Library Policy

The Youth Library will be available to all Card holders every Tuesday Night in term time.
Application forms will be received from youths in School Years 7 and up who have attended either Sunday Morning or Tuesday Night Youth regularly over the last 3 months. Successful applicants will be required to pay a one-off £1.50 joining fee.
Successful applicants will receive a provisional Bronze Tier Card allowing them to take out one book at a time. After two successful book/resource borrows and three months time they will then be upgraded to the Silver Tier.
Silver Tier Card holders will be allowed access to all books on the Silver Tier and also a range of DVDs and CDs. After 12 months and 6 successful book/resource borrows they will be upgraded to the Gold Tier.
Gold Tier Card holders will be given access to additional books/resources on the Gold Tier and will be allowed to borrow up to two books/resources at a time.
Successful Book Borrows are defined as books/resources returned on time and in good condition. Should there be a need to extend the timing on the borrowed books/resources, approval should be granted before or on the expected return date.
Damage or loss of books/resources may result in the revoking of membership without a refund.
Anyone not attending Youth for over two months will be required to re-apply for a library card as their membership will be revoked.
Cards must be presented at the Library for books/resources to be borrowed.
