KidZone

Kidzone

KidZone is our Sunday morning group for children aged 5 and upwards, to the end of Primary School Year 2. The KidZone sessions teach the children more about the Christian faith and building a personal relationship with Christ. Each session is filled with fun and creative ways to engage the children and to make the teachings relevant and real for them.

When does KidZone take place?

Approx. 40 minutes into the Sunday morning service there will be a presentation on the big screens showing the ‘wiggly worms’ graphics; this is a prompt to the children that it is time for their groups to begin.

Where does KidZone take place?

The KidZone children line up in the Concourse area and are led by the KidZone leaders to the Green Room. Parents collect the children directly from the Green Room after the service has closed.

How long does KidZone run for?

KidZone will run from the time of the ‘Wiggly Worms’ presentation on the big screens until the end of the service – usually approx. 45 minutes – 1 hour. Please collect your child promptly at the end of the service.

What happens in the KidZone session?

KidZone sessions begin with ‘carpet time’ followed by a number of activities that are both fun and also designed to compliment the teaching point of the session. Activities range from games, songs, dramas, crafts and stories. During the session the children will also be offered a drink and a snack.
