BabyZone
BabyZone is our Sunday morning group for babies and children aged from 0-2 years. It’s a safe, fun and friendly environment in which the children can play and interact with each other.
When does BabyZone take place?
Approx 40 minutes in to the Sunday morning service there will be a presentation on the big screens showing the ‘wiggly worms’ graphics, this is a prompt to the children that it is time for their groups to begin.
Where does BabyZone take place?
If your baby or child is aged 6 months to 2 years old please follow the signs in the Concourse area that will direct you downstairs to the BabyZone room where you can sign them in and leave them with our dedicated team of BabyZone leaders.
If your baby is under 6 months old you are welcome to keep them with you in the Main Auditorium or be seated with them in the Concourse area where you can watch and hear the service. We also have a dedicated Nursing & Feeding area should you require some extra privacy. You are also welcome to bring them down to the BabyZone room and remain with them during the session.
How long does BabyZone run for?
BabyZone will run from the time of the ‘Wiggly Worms’ presentation on the big screens until the end of the service – usually approx 45 mins – 1 hour. Please collect your child promptly at the end of the service
What happens in the BabyZone session?
BabyZone sessions have an open structure, involving free play with a wide selection of toys, and activities such as drawing, puzzles and role-play, together with a quiet time for a drink, snack and story or song.
What if my baby or child is upset?
If your child appears unsettled when you drop them off in the BabyZone room you are more than welcome to remain with them or leave them and check back on them at regular intervals.
If a child becomes upset during the session and cannot be comforted, distracted or consoled, we will contact you in the service to come and collect them or to stay with them.
In our Concourse area we do have a live link screen and sound to the main service and so you are also welcome to sit in this area with your child.
