Travelling to LGCC

By Car:

LGCC is only 5 minutes from Junction 9 of the A1 (M).
If you are navigating via SAT NAV, our postcode is SG6 1EF.  We are situated on Icknield Way, next to the ESSO Garage.

From the North
If you are travelling from the North, take the 3rd exit at Junction 9 of the A1(M) onto the A505 towards Letchworth.

From the South
If you are travelling from the South, take the 1st exit at Junction 9 of the A1(M) onto the A505 towards Letchworth.

Once on the A505, you will be required to navigate around 8 roundabouts or mini-roundabouts. The required exit at each of these roundabouts is: 3, 2, 3, 2, 1, 2, 2, 2.

This will bring you onto Icknield Way, where LGCC is situated, next to the ESSO garage.

By Train:

The nearest train station to LGCC is Letchworth Garden City, which is a two minute drive, or 10 minute walk from LGCC.  (There is a taxi rank outside the station should you require transportation.) Please click here to go to thetrainline.com, where you can find train timetables and book tickets.

Walking from the station
On exiting the station, turn left onto Station Road and follow this road downhill until you reach the roundabout.  Take the 1st exit onto Norton Way North.  Then you will come to 2 roundabouts in close succession.  Take the 2nd exit at both of these.
You will now be on Icknield Way.  LGCC is situated next to the ESSO Garage.
 

By Plane:

The nearest airport to LGCC is Luton, which is only a 30 minute drive away by car. Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted are also located within reasonable proximity.
