Membership
 
 

To apply for membership at LGCC, individuals will need to meet the following criteria:
 
-       Be born again
-       Be aged 16 or over
-       Be in regular attendance for three months or more
-       Must have been water baptised as a believer
-       Must not be a member of another church
-       Must not be involved in another religion or alternative spirituality
-       Must subscribe to the truths outlined in the doctrinal basis of the Elim Pentecostal Churches of Great Britain
-       Must agree with the expectations outlined in the “Understanding Membership” booklet
 
Those who meet these criteria are invited to complete a membership application form. This has to be countersigned by a another LGCC member. Applications will be passed on to the eldership for consideration and successful applicants will be invited to participate in a bi-monthly “receive into membership” event at the Sunday morning service, where they will be welcomed, prayed for and officially receive the “right hand of fellowship”.
