WEEK ONE

DAY ONE

‘Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end.’ Isaiah 9:7

We declare Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We declare His Kingdom will endure forever and it will increase until it fills the whole earth (Daniel 2: 44). We declare Jesus is Lord over our lives, the life of our church, LGCC, over Letchworth and all the surrounding areas and over our nation. We agree ‘The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever.’ (Revelation 11: 15).

DAY TWO

‘See I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up: do you not perceive it?’

We declare that in our day, God is doing a new thing. We choose to fix our eyes upon Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12: 2) and cry out that God will enlarge our mindset to see what he is doing at this time. We shake off small mindedness and instead open our minds to all the possibilities of God moving in power in our midst. We declare God is a good God and he is for us.

DAY THREE

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3: 20 -21. 

Lord, we repent where we have allowed our mindsets to be so small, and where we have been consumed with our own matters. Come Lord, enlarge our thinking, fire our imaginations, let our prayers and meditation be touched by the wonders of who you are, who you have made us to be and all the amazing possibilities that lie within your mighty hands.

DAY FOUR

“Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.”

Today we repent where our thoughts and words have not reflected this truth and we declare. ‘You are Almighty God. Nothing is too hard for you.’ We declare, ‘You made the heavens and the earth. Nothing is too hard for you.’ We declare, ‘The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. Nothing is too hard for you.’

DAY FIVE

We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters, and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing 2 Thessalonians 1:3.

We declare that faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains and we thank you Lord that you have called us to be people of faith, who believe in your word and act upon it. Lord, we cry out that fresh faith and fresh vision will come upon Your people, that we will see what You see and hear what Your Spirit is saying and react accordingly.

DAY SIX

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7: 7-8.

We declare we will be people of faith, who will ask and keep on asking, trusting that you are the Lord of all provision. We cry out that the loan on our building will be paid off and we make ourselves available to be the answer to our prayers.

DAY SEVEN

We thank you God that our church building came into being as an act of faith and has been a source of great blessing to the church and the local community. We thank God that people have met Jesus within its walls, there have been healings, and many have grown in faith during the last 18 years. Now Lord we cry out for the accommodation you have provided for this church will be debt free in 2023. We declare this building will be used for the glory of God in the days and years ahead.

 

WEEK TWO

DAY EIGHT

My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. John 15: 12 – 13.

Lord, we thank you for the great love you have shown us, and we declare we will be people who will walk in that love, preferring others to ourselves. We will be those who choose service to their King – the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings - above and beyond personal comfort and gain.

DAY NINE

Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

In this day we recognise the power and strength of unity, and we declare that we have a calling as a church to bring God’s good news to our society; to see his Kingdom come in power in our midst. We declare we will honour and see the good in one another and rejoice together over every victory and breakthrough.  Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. Philippians 2: 3 – 4.

DAY TEN

Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28: 19 – 20

Lord, we declare you are calling us out from the comfort of our homes, churches and mindsets into our world to take the good news of Jesus wherever we go. We thank you for every initiative in our town that shows your love, and we speak blessing, anointing and provision for each one. We declare we are a people who will go that the Gospel will be preached with signs and wonders following. 

DAY ELEVEN

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.’ Acts 1: 8

Lord, we thank you for the call of your church to go into all the world, that all people will hear the good news of Jesus. We thank you that you empower us by your Spirit for this work and give us a fresh revelation for this task. We commit ourselves to be obedient to your calling to be your witnesses even to the ends of the Earth.

DAY TWELVE

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matthew 5: 11 – 12

Lord we recognise that many of our brothers and sisters across the world are suffering for the Gospel. We declare strength, courage and comfort for them, that they will know the presence of Jesus in the midst of their suffering. We pray that whenever they speak, words may be given them so that they will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, Ephesians 6: 19.  We bless all those who support them, and we pray protection and divine favour on them in the Name of Jesus.

DAY THIRTEEN

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.’ Luke 19: 10.

Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners – of whom I am the worst. 1 Timothy 1: 15

Lord God, we thank you for our salvation, that while we were lost in our sins, Jesus came and found us. We declare this wonderful truth will spur us to greater efforts to reach the lost, to show and share the Gospel with those around us that all glory will go to Jesus, the Saviour of our souls.

DAY FOURTEEN

 Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.’ Acts 4: 29 – 30

Lord, we repent where we have become comfortable in our Christian faith, and we ask that you would stir us up to greater boldness and faith. We cry out for a release of the miraculous in our midst and we declare we will position ourselves to be used by you to bring your Kingdom that Jesus would be glorified in our midst.

WEEK THREE

DAY FIFTEEN

Finally, be strong in the Lord and his mighty power Ephesians 6: 10

Lord, we declare in this day you are calling your church to a greater dependency and faith that we may grow strong in you. We declare a revelation of the authority of Christ Jesus will rest upon this Church that we will know who God truly is, all he has accomplished and who we are as his disciples. We declare we will fix our eyes upon Jesus and walk in his authority.

DAY SIXTEEN

In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. 1 John 5: 3 - 5

We thank you for the victory of Jesus on the cross over every work of the enemy. We declare we have been called to be overcomers, to walk in victory and see restoration in 2023 of every circumstance that is not bringing life. We declare turn around in family situations, in finances, in health and work and we call to life dreams that have been lying dormant in the Name of Jesus.

DAY SEVENTEEN

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve … But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.’ Joshua 24: 15

Today, we declare we will serve the Lord. We choose his plans and purposes for our lives, families and this church. We align ourselves with what God is doing today and we declare we will no longer walk according to the flesh, choosing to serve ourselves, but according to the Spirit.

DAY EIGHTEEN

Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Lord, we thank you that you are calling us upwards to see more clearly the days we are living in. We choose to align our thoughts and actions with those of heaven that our minds may be renewed. We declare freedom over our minds and thinking. We choose to walk in greater obedience to you, trusting you that you are good and have only good, pleasing and perfect plans for our lives.

DAY NINETEEN

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge – that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3: 17 – 19

We thank you that you are calling us to greater revelation of God’s love for each one of us. We choose to fix our eyes upon Jesus that we may be deeply rooted in this love, filled to overflowing with his goodness and grace.

DAY TWENTY

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4: 12

We thank your Lord for your Word which is indeed living and active. We declare we will be people of the Word, who will let the Word transform our lives as we read and meditate upon it. We declare all confusion will give way to greater clarity of who God is and all that he is doing.

DAY TWENTY-ONE

Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly Colossians 3: 16.

Father, as we complete our 21 days of Prayer and Fasting, we thank you for all that you have invested in us as we have turned aside to focus on you. We thank you for every transformation that you have brought, and we anticipate what you are going to accomplish in our lives and in LGCC in the days ahead. We declare you are a good, gracious, kind, loving Father who has only good plans for his children.

Exercise Your Authority In Christ: Spiritual Declarations

Jesus has given us power over the enemy and we don't have to put up with His demonic attacks! If the enemy is attacking finances, family, loved ones, job, business, or ministry, we can fight him back in the spirit and take spiritual authority over him by using the keys of the Kingdom of heaven (binding and loosing).

Spiritual Declarations are powerful and allow us to use the Sword of the Spirit and cut him (the enemy) down with the Word of God and use our authority!
